Tom graduated from Loughborough University in 2017, with a BSc degree in Human Biology.

Tom completed postgraduate study at the University of Nottingham in 2018, and was awarded an MSc degree in Molecular Genetics and Diagnostics. During this time, Tom investigated the use of imputation within polygenic risk scoring and Alzheimer’s disease. From 2018 to 2020, he worked for a large veterinary practice as a Data Analyst. Tom retuned to academia in 2020 and is currently studying on the BBSRC DTP PhD programme. His project is titled: “Integrative Omics Approaches for Understanding the Molecular Pathogenesis of Dementia with Lewy Bodies”.
