Nottingham is one of the highest ranking cities for expertise in ADHD outside London, thanks to the work of CANDAL colleagues.

Under Dr Maddie Groom’s leadership of the Centre for ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CANDAL), the University of Nottingham has been rated 13th of out 2777 organisations for expertise in ADHD according to the latest expertscape ratings, making Nottingham one of only 3 cities in the UK to appear in the top 20.

The high rating for Nottingham is due to a group effort from staff in the School of Medicine, School of Psychology and CANDAL in the Institute of Mental Health.  Professor Sam Cortese (Honorary Professor ), Professor David Daley and Professor Kapil Sayal all within Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences in the School of Medicine were ranked, 1st, 42nd and 53rd respectively out of 41,033 experts worldwide. 

In addition, MindTech's Chirs Hollis appears in the ranking, with his research making a significant contribution to the canon of ADHD evidence.
