TAnDem Conference 2018

Artists, service users, carers and academics will come together to discuss the arts as a medium for leisure, care and learning in dementia. 

TAnDem researchers will look at how the arts can best be accessed by people living with dementia and at what approaches to evaluation are most suitable. Guest speakers will explore the wider context for the arts and dementia in the UK. 

Confirmed speakers include:

 David Cutler, Baring Foundation

Sebastian Crutch, Created Out of Mind

Rebecca Gordon-Nesbitt, King’s College London

Tony Husband, Cartoonist

There will also be singing from Blue Skies Singing Group, Nottingham and a premiere performance of a research based play and discussion from Silva Lining's Care Plan!
