Overview: This module aims to develop your knowledge, skills and clinical effectiveness through a greater understanding of the issues in caring for older people with mental health needs, including dementia and the processes through which they are applied in practice. There is an underpinning philosophy of person-centred care throughout the module, and this will help you develop a range of skills focused on meeting service user needs.
